First Month recap

This is Sherman Mazur first month recap. Sherman Mazur is very excited about this season. However the regular season is showing a widespread difference between the good and bad teams. 

What's the story with Tracy McGrady? Every team seems to play better without him. Why is that? The man is extremely talented but never seems to make anyone else better. The question is can McGrady mature and make someone better? Do the Rockets keep him? I doubt it. He is probably going to traded in the next week or two. The Knicks, Nets or Washington might be the best fits. Sherman Mazur will be keeping an eye on this story...

Sheman Mazur disapointed by the Knicks

Doonie Walsh made some good moves to shed salaries. It made no sense to have the highest payroll with the one of the worst teams. However, I am beginning to question whether is long term goal will be accomplished of getting Wade or Jame. It appears both of them will be staying with their respective teams. On top of that they might be one of the biggest victims of the reduced salary cap.

Even if James or Wade would leave the Knicks have no additional talent to make Wade or James a champion.

sherman Mazur thinks they might loose their most exciting player Robinson. Sherman Mazur jopes they atleast resign Lee. Lee may not be the best player but he works hard and gets rebounds. The Knicks only hope is to get Curry back and productive. hopefully he continue to loose weight and become a player of value. Hard to believe people complained that he didn't make the all star team a few years ago. I personally though he should have been on the olympic team. LOL.

Sherman Mazur's BBall Free Agent Blog

Well like I previously blogged this season was one of the best in recent memory and next year playoffs could be better (at least after the first round). The best teams have only gotten better. Lakers are one more player away from dream team status with the addition of Artest. Same goes for Boston if the get Wallace. The Cav's are definitely stronger with Shaq.

Sherman Mazur believes the division shift of dominance has moved from West to east with the recent playoff basketball deaths of the Suns and Rockets. Both teams have officially gone into rebuilding status. Losing Artest was a big blow to the Rockets when consider Yao might not be back and Tracy is always injured. Sherman Mazur playoff teams Lakers, Trailblazers, Jazz, Mavericks, Hornets, Spurs, Warriors and Thunder. Yes the Thunder. However they will get destroyed by the Lakers. Sherman Mazur thinks the only team that might come close to fighting the Lakers are the Spurs. The Trailblazers are a good team but unless Oden learns to dominate in the summer they have no shot.

Sherman Mazur Game 4 Blog

Sorry Sherman Mazur has not been posting to my basketball blog. Sherman Mazur has been dead wrong about Denver vs Cleveland. With that said I really must say this has been the most exciting basketball playoffs in recent memory. Sherman Mazur thinks the Lakers are very lucky to be up three games to one.

At the game of end 4 have you ever seen a worst sequence to end a basketball game. Sherman Mazur woders why you would have more than 1 guy in the backcourt and not drop 4 back and guard against the three?

Forget about the missed free throws that happens but the defense on the inbounds was horrible.

Well can the Lakers beat Rockets.

Sherman Mazur thinks they need to play defense. There defense was horrible. Do you think they can let up anymore points in the paint.

Well sherman Mazur is glad that Dallas and it's owners season is over. Now hopefully Sherman Mazur can see the Lakers win tonight. But they have not started out to well. 

Sherman Mazur is very happy that Boston lost. Let's hope the Orlando can win on Boston in game 7. Sherman Mazur still thinks it is Cleveland against Denver.

It is obvious the Rockets are not the same team without Yao. The Lakers looked strong against a depleted team. Let's see what the will do against Denver.
